10 Simple Ideas To Decorate Your Bathroom Countertops

Best Bathroom Decor Decor

Recently, I was tasked to refresh a bathroom space. These are the spaces that are often overlooked while setting up our bathrooms.

Did you know that an average person spends almost 420 minutes per week in the bathroom (next time I am planning to install a timer in my bathroom)?

Irrespective of the survey, every space of your home needs a refresh. And the bathroom should as well be addressed.

Try these super simple tips to decorate your bathroom countertop for the best function and organization. Oh, and it’s Beautiful too!

1. Add A Houseplant or Flowers

One of the easiest ways to decorate bathroom counters is to add a houseplant. You can definitely add those houseplants that do not need direct sunlight. Peace lilies are lovely and the money plant never displeases you.

And if you do not have a natural light in your bathroom, you can even go for faux floral or plant arrangements.

2. Add Canisters and Baskets

One of the simple ways to any decor is to add jars, baskets, and canisters as a way to transform your bathroom.

You can play with textures.

You can even use mason jars to place items like cotton swabs, razors, cotton buds, or even face masks (I know this is a little extra).

Or you can use to place one for your toothbrushes and another one only for toothpaste.

There are many creative ways to make the countertop interesting.

3. Use Trays

You can use ceramic trays or wooden trays next to your sink. This will help you keep your hand lotion, soaps, and sprays in one location.

Decorating your bathroom countertop with a ceramic tray or wooden tray or even a glass tray will add that extra touch of elegance.

4. Match Up Your Canisters And Dispensers

Most often when we are planning to transform or upgrade our bathrooms, the decor needs to be more aligned and welcoming. To avoid such mishaps.

Best is to match your soap dispenser with other bathroom accessories like tissue box covers or towels or flowers. Let it be seamless to give it that organized look.

5. Display Art Pieces

Ever thought of using art pieces to display your personal style?

Well, it not only enhances the tone of the room but also showcases a unique style. You can either go for a more soft or neutral color palette or can go for a colorful one.

Let your bathroom be a place where you feel more calming and playful.

6. Roll Your Towels For The Spa Look

When you visit a hotel, seeing those hand towels neatly rolled up on the bathroom countertops makes you feel very rich.

How about you create and enjoy that same experience by rolling your hand towels on your bathroom countertops for a spa-like touch?

7. Infuse personality with a statement piece

How about adding one statement piece instead of having multiple accessories on the bathroom countertop? You can have a floral plant or have a group of decorative objects like jars or vases. This type of arrangement adds a unique visual impact.

8. Instant Style Upgrade with Amber Glassware

To easily add color to your bathroom, add in amber glassware. This will give a very neutral and relaxing feel. You can use amber jars, or amber toothbrush holders, or even amber soap dispensers. Amber gives that hint of richness giving a very neutral and relaxing feel.

9. Use Glass Trays

A classic way of upgrading the look of your bathroom countertop is by displaying decorative objects. And glass trays are the perfect answer to this. Why? Because glass trays fit in with any style and color scheme. You can use it to display your perfume bottles, or hair brushes, or even lotions.

10. Simple and Clean Look

When in any doubt, go for a simple and cleaner look. If your countertops look cluttered, store the extra toiletries under the sink or in cabinets. Only display necessities like soap and hand towels.
